Common questions

Questions I get a lot

What does it mean to be visible in AI search?

When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google’s AI for a business like yours, the answer gets built from a handful of sources those systems trust and can actually read. Visibility means you’re one of them. If your site is thin, unstructured, or says the same vague thing as everyone else, you don’t get pulled into that answer, and you never find out it happened. The customer just goes with whoever did come up.

Isn’t this just SEO with a new name?

It’s the same foundation. Good SEO was always about being clear and trustworthy enough that a search engine could confidently surface you when someone was looking for what you do. AI search raises the stakes because it usually gives one answer instead of ten blue links, so being unclear costs you more than it used to. The work is familiar. Clean structure, real content, and schema that tells the machine exactly what you are. If your SEO is already honest and solid, you’re most of the way there.

What do I actually get from the free audit?

You put in your website and get back a short report: a visibility score for how you show up across Google and AI, the specific places you’re missing, and the first few fixes worth doing, in order. It takes about a minute to run and it lands in your inbox. No call required. You get an honest picture of where you stand, and what you do with it is up to you.

I’m a small business. Do I really need to worry about AI search?

Depends on whether your customers ask AI or Google before they choose, and more of them do every month. They don’t tell you when you weren’t in the answer. You don’t need to chase every trend, but you do need to be findable and clear about what you do. If you already are, good. If you’re not sure, that’s what the audit is for.

What does working with you look like?

I take on a few businesses at a time. We start with whatever’s actually broken, usually visibility, messy structure, or a message that doesn’t say clearly what you do, and fix that first. From there it’s the systems that keep it running, so you’re not rebuilding it every few months. I’d rather fix the real problem than sell you a package you don’t need, so the first conversation is just figuring out if there’s a fit.

Can you guarantee I’ll rank number one?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Search and AI don’t hand out guaranteed spots. They respond over time to whoever is clearest and most trustworthy. What I can do is make sure nothing on your side is holding you back. Your site reads clearly, your structure is right, and you’re actually saying something worth surfacing. That’s the part you control, and it’s usually the part that’s been neglected.
